Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and clarity in the event that you need to cancel our services or request a refund. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation by the Client: If you decide to cancel our trademark registration consultation services, you may do so by sending us a written request via email to [email protected]. The cancellation request must include your full name, contact information, and a description of the services you wish to cancel. Please note the following:
- If the cancellation request is received before the filing process and no substantial work has been initiated, you will be eligible for a refund of the government official filing fee only.
- If the cancellation request is made within one business day of the trademark filing process. The official filing work may not be able to be suspended with the short notice. No refund will be provided if the trademark filing process has been completed.
- Cancellation by 1st IP: We reserve the right to cancel our services at any time due to unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues, unavailability of our consultants, or any other valid reason. In such cases, you will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid, including the government official filing fee.
Refund Policy
- Eligibility for Refund: Refund requests are subject to the terms outlined in our cancellation policy. Additionally:
- No refund will be provided if the trademark registration process has been completed, including the filing of the trademark application and incurring all associated costs.
- If the trademark registration process has not been completed and you are eligible for a refund as per our cancellation policy, the refund will only cover the government official filing fee.
- Processing Time for Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 20 business days of receiving a valid refund request. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. If this is not feasible, we will work with you to determine an appropriate refund method.
Exceptions
This policy does not apply to situations involving willful misconduct, misrepresentation, or failure to adhere to our terms of service. In such cases, 1st IP reserves the right to deny refunds and take appropriate legal action.
